DENTURES

One of the simplest ways of replacing missing teeth is to get dentures. Dentures are a removable option. That means they are not fixed in the mouth and can be removed out of the mouth and refitted back into the mouth by you. These can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth or an entire set of teeth. Depending on the condition of the mouth, dentures can take support of existing teeth, or the gums or even implants to make themselves stable inside the mouth.

What are dentures and what are the different types of dentures available today?

Dentures are removable artificial teeth and gums designed according to the shape of your bone and jaw to replace your missing teeth. Dentures can be complete (replacing all your teeth) or partial (replacing few of your teeth). They are customized to fit properly in your mouth as well as match with the colour of your existing teeth. They can be made in acrylic resin or in a flexible material. They can also be made in a metal framework.
