BRIDGES

A bridge is a way of replacing a missing tooth. It involves taking support of minimum two existing teeth immediately adjacent to the missing tooth. These supporting teeth are then trimmed down to receive crowns and measurements are taken. A bridge is then manufactured in a lab which consists of crowns on the supporting teeth and the missing tooth is attached to these crowns making it three teeth in one piece. This is a relatively quick and easy way to replace a missing tooth, however, not the first choice of treatment as it involves trimming down of two more teeth.
